And Moses told his father-in-law all that the LORD had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for Israels sake, and all the travail that they had suffered on the journey, and how the LORD had delivered them.

And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the LORD had done to Israel, because he had delivered them out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh.

And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of Pharaoh, for he has delivered his people from under the rule of the Egyptians.

Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods; for despite the counsel which the Egyptians had devised against them, he triumphed over them.

And the LORD said to Moses, Lo, I am coming to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you and also believe you for ever. And Moses told the words of the people before the LORD.

And be ready by the third day; for on the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
