Now therefore thus says the Lord , You shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'" So Elijah went.

And they said to him, "There came a man to meet us, and said to us, ‘Go back to the king who sent you, and say to him, Thus says the Lord , Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'"

and said to him, "Thus says the Lord , ‘Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron—is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word?—therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'"

Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said, "Thus says the Lord , I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it."

And he said, "Thus says the Lord , ‘I will make this dry streambed full of pools.'

For thus says the Lord , ‘You shall not see wind or rain, but that streambed shall be filled with water, so that you shall drink, you, your livestock, and your animals.'

But his servant said, "How can I set this before a hundred men?" So he repeated, "Give them to the men, that they may eat, for thus says the Lord , ‘They shall eat and have some left.'"

But Elisha said, "Hear the word of the Lord : thus says the Lord , Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria."

Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned said to the man of God, "If the Lord himself should make windows in heaven, could this thing be?" And they said to one another, "Why are we sitting here until we die?

Then take the flask of oil and pour it on his head and say, ‘Thus says the Lord , I anoint you king over Israel.' Then open the door and flee; do not linger."

So he arose and went into the house. And the young man poured the oil on his head, saying to him, "Thus says the Lord , the God of Israel, I anoint you king over the people of the Lord , over Israel.

And they said, "That is not true; tell us now." And he said, "Thus and so he spoke to me, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord , I anoint you king over Israel.'"

Isaiah said to them, "Say to your master, ‘Thus says the Lord : Do not be afraid because of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have reviled me.

Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, "Thus says the Lord , the God of Israel: Your prayer to me about Sennacherib king of Assyria I have heard.

"Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of Assyria: He shall not come into this city or shoot an arrow there, or come before it with a shield or cast up a siege mound against it.

In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him and said to him, "Thus says the Lord , ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die; you shall not recover.'"

"Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the leader of my people, Thus says the Lord , the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord ,

Behold, the days are coming, when all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have stored up till this day, shall be carried to Babylon. Nothing shall be left, says the Lord .

therefore thus says the Lord , the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing upon Jerusalem and Judah such disaster that the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle.

And she said to them, "Thus says the Lord , the God of Israel: ‘Tell the man who sent you to me,
