But not all of them welcomed the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?"

Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God's wrath. For it is written: "Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord."

Therefore I inform you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.

It is written in the Law: "By strange tongues and foreign lips I will speak to this people, but even then they will not listen to Me, says the Lord."

"Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you."

And: "I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, who is and was and is to come-the Almighty.

And I heard a voice from heaven telling me to write, "Blessed are the dead-those who die in the Lord from this moment on." "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labors, for their deeds will follow them."
