And he said to Jeroboam, "Take for yourself ten pieces, for thus says the Lord , the God of Israel, ‘Behold, I am about to tear the kingdom from the hand of Solomon and will give you ten tribes

‘Thus says the Lord , You shall not go up or fight against your relatives the people of Israel. Every man return to his home, for this thing is from me.'" So they listened to the word of the Lord and went home again, according to the word of the Lord .

Go, tell Jeroboam, ‘Thus says the Lord , the God of Israel: "Because I exalted you from among the people and made you leader over my people Israel

For thus says the Lord , the God of Israel, ‘The jar of flour shall not be spent, and the jug of oil shall not be empty, until the day that the Lord sends rain upon the earth.'"

And he said to him, "Thus says the Lord , ‘Because you have let go out of your hand the man whom I had devoted to destruction, therefore your life shall be for his life, and your people for his people.'"

And you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord , "Have you killed and also taken possession?"' And you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord : "In the place where dogs licked up the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick your own blood."'"

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron and said, "Thus says the Lord , ‘With these you shall push the Syrians until they are destroyed.'"

But Micaiah said, "As the Lord lives, what the Lord says to me, that I will speak."

Now therefore thus says the Lord , You shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'" So Elijah went.

And they said to him, "There came a man to meet us, and said to us, ‘Go back to the king who sent you, and say to him, Thus says the Lord , Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'"

and said to him, "Thus says the Lord , ‘Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron—is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of his word?—therefore you shall not come down from the bed to which you have gone up, but you shall surely die.'"
