¹⁸Then King David went in and sat before the LORD , and he said: "Who am I, O Sovereign LORD , and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? ¹⁸ Then King David went in and sat before the Lord , and he said: "Who am I, Sovereign Lord , and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? ¹⁸Then David the king went in and sat before Yahweh, and he said, "Who am I, O Lord Yahweh, and what is my house, that You have brought me this far? ¹⁸ Then David the king went in and sat before the LORD, and he said, "Who am I, O Lord GOD, and what is my house, that You have brought me this far? ¹⁸ Then went king Dauid in, and set him downe before the Lord, and sayde: Who am I, O Lorde God? and what is my house that thou hast brought me hyther to? ¹⁸ Then King David went in and sat in front of the Lord . David said, "Lord God , why am I so important to you? Why is my family important? Why have you made me so important? ¹⁸ And King David came in and sat before Jehovah, and said: Who am I, O Lord Jehovah, and what is my house, that you have brought me here? ¹⁸ Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and said, "Who am I, O Lord GOD, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me thus far? ¹⁸ Then David the king went in, and sat before Yahweh; and he said, Who am I, Lord Yahweh, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far? ¹⁸ Then went king Dauid in, and sate before the Lord, and hee said, Who am I, O Lord God? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?

Gill's Notes on the Bible

And now, O Lord God, thou [art] that God,.... Who is the Lord of hosts, and the God of Israel, that has promised and is able to perform, and is faithful to his promise:

and thy words be true; are truly, punctually, and faithfully performed, never fail:

and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant; concerning building and establishing his house. David repeats this promise as being greatly affected with it, and fully assured of the performance of it.
