The man of God came up and told the king of Israel, "This is what the Lord says: ‘Because the Arameans think the Lord is a god of the hills and not a god of the valleys, I will deliver this vast army into your hands, and you will know that I am the Lord .'"

Now Zedekiah son of Kenaanah had made iron horns and he declared, "This is what the Lord says: ‘With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed.'"

Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘You will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!'" So Elijah went.

"A man came to meet us," they replied. "And he said to us, ‘Go back to the king who sent you and tell him, "This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Elisha replied, "Hear the word of the Lord . This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria."

Then take the flask and pour the oil on his head and declare, ‘This is what the Lord says: I anoint you king over Israel.' Then open the door and run; don't delay!"

Jehu got up and went into the house. Then the prophet poured the oil on Jehu's head and declared, "This is what the Lord , the God of Israel, says: ‘I anoint you king over the Lord 's people Israel.

Do not let Hezekiah persuade you to trust in the Lord when he says, ‘The Lord will surely deliver us; this city will not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.'

Then Isaiah son of Amoz sent a message to Hezekiah: "This is what the Lord , the God of Israel, says: I have heard your prayer concerning Sennacherib king of Assyria.
