Scall
Holman Bible Dictionary
KJV term for a skin disease (Leviticus 13:30-37; Leviticus 14:54 ). The basic Hebrew term means, “to tear away, pull loose.” The disease produced head sores, itching, hair thinning, and hair turning yellow. Modern translations refer to a scale or itch. Some scholars think favus is the disease described; others speak of ringworm or eczema. See Itch .
