"For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world."

"For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

So then the Jews were complaining about Him because He said, "I am the bread that came down out of heaven."

And they were saying, "Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How does He now say, 'I have come down out of heaven'?"

"This is the bread that comes down out of heaven, so that anyone may eat from it and not die.

"I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats from this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I will give for the life of the world also is My flesh."

"This is the bread that came down out of heaven, not as the fathers ate and died; the one who eats this bread will live forever."

"Father, glorify Your name." Then a voice came out of heaven: "I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again."

Jesus spoke these things; and raising His eyes to heaven, He said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, so that the Son may glorify You,

until the day when He was taken up to heaven, after He had given orders by the Holy Spirit to the apostles whom He had chosen.

and they said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."

And suddenly a noise like a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

Now there were Jews residing in Jerusalem, devout men from every nation under heaven.

"For it was not David who ascended into heaven, but he himself says: 'THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD, "SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND,

whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things, about which God spoke by the mouths of His holy prophets from ancient times.

"And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved."

And when they heard this, they raised their voices to God with one mind and said, "Lord, it is You who MADE THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH AND THE SEA, AND EVERYTHING THAT IS IN THEM,

'HEAVEN IS MY THRONE, AND THE EARTH IS THE FOOTSTOOL OF MY FEET; WHAT KIND OF HOUSE WILL YOU BUILD FOR ME?' says the Lord, 'OR WHAT PLACE IS THERE FOR MY REST?

But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, looked intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God;

Now as he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him;
