Qal Imperfect 3 masculine singular יַעֲלֹס Job 20:18 he shall not rejoice.
Niph`al Perfect 3 feminine singular נֶעֱלָ֑סָה Job 39:13 (of ostrich's wing) = flap joyously.
Hithpa`el Imperfect 1 plural cohortative נִתְעַלְּסָה Proverbs 7:18 let us delight ourselves in (ב) love.
עָלַס i.q. עָלַז and עָלַץ to rejoice, to be merry, Job 20:18.
Niphal, Job 39:13, כְּנַף־רְנָנִים נֶעֱלָסָה “the wing of the ostriches exults;” i.e. moves itself briskly; comp. Il. ii. 462, ἀγαλλόμεναι πτερύγεσσι.
