גָּדִישׁ m. (from the root גָּדַשׁ).
(1) a heap of sheaves in the field. Exodus 22:5; Judges 15:5; Job 5:26. (Syr. Ch. ܓܕܺܝܫܐܳ, גָּדִישָׁא id. Arab. especially amongst the Moors جديس, جُدْسُ; comp. جَدَّسَ to heap up.
(2) a sepulchral heap, Job 21:32 comp. Arab. حَدَثُ sepulchre.
