רָסַס

(I) to moisten, to sprinkle, Ezekiel 46:14. Hence רְסִיסִים drops of dew, and pr.n. רִסָּה. (Chaldee רְסַס, Arabic رَشَّ id. To this answers the Sanscr. rasah, dew; Gr. ἔρση, ἕρση, and δρόσος; Lat. ros.)

(II) i.q. רָצַץ to break; whence רְסִיסִים No. II.
