יָרֵחַ m. the moon; a word prob. primitive [but see above], Genesis 37:9; Deuteronomy 4:19; Joshua 10:12, 13 Joshua 10:13; Psalms 72:5, לִפְּנֵי יָרֵחַ “before the moon,” i.e. as long as the moon shall shine.
