A somewhat weakened sense is found in P Giss I. 40ii. 16 (A.D. 215) Αἰ [γύπτι ]ο ̣ι ̣ πάντες, οἵ εἰσιν ἐν Ἀλεξανδρείᾳ, καὶ μάλιστα ἄ [γ ]ροικοι, οἵτινες πεφε [ύγασιν ] ἄλ ̣[λοθεν, and ib..23 οἵτινες φεύγουσι τὰς χώρας τὰς ἰδίας.
