Fr. 412, Hermipp. 63.22, Stratt. 2 (who has gen. -ιδος ), LXX Genesis 18:6, al., Revelation 18:13, etc.; σεμιδάρεως is an error in POxy. 736.82 (i A.D.): hence σεμῐδᾱλίτης [ ῑ] ἄρτος, ὁ, bread made of σεμίδαλις, Hp. Vict. 2.42, PPetr. 3p.179 (iii B.C.), Diph.Siph. ap. Ath. 3.115c, Trypho ib. 109c, Ath.Med. ap. Orib. 1.2.2, etc.: also σεμιδάλιν ( = -ιον ), τό, PLond. 2.190.45 (iii A.D.), Gloss. (Cf. Assyr. samîdu, Aram. semîdâ in same sense.)
