κηρίον disappears from the true text of Luke 24:42, but for the word itself see PSI V. 535.19 (iii/B.C.) κηρίον α ̄. Cf. also P Lond 1171 verso.1(a). .8 (A.D. 42) (= III. p. 106) where we read of an ἐγλήμπτωρ μέλιτος καὶ κηροῦ, and P Leid Wvii. 46 (ii/iii A.D.) ποίσον (l. ποίησον) ἱπποπόταμων (l. ον) ἐκ κηροῦ πυρροῦ.
