אֲשׁוּרִי adjective, of a people׳הָא as collective noun 2 Samuel 2:9, but read perhaps הַגְּשׁוּרִי q. v., compare also We Dr; Köh Klo and others read הָאָֽשֵׁרִי & compare Judges 1:32.
