Ashkenazi, Isaac ben Ẓebi
The 1901 Jewish Encyclopedia
Rabbi and author; born in Russia about the middle of the eighteenth century, and officiated as rabbi in Chodorow and Lemberg, in which latter place he died May 5, 1807. He was the author of the Hebrew works, "Or ha-Ner" (Light of the Lamp), a commentary on the Haggadah, Lemberg, 1788, and "Torat ha-Ḳodesh" (Law of Holiness), a commentary on ZebaḦim, ibid., 1792.
