Abensur, Jacob
The 1901 Jewish Encyclopedia
Probably a son of Daniel Abensur; was also Polish minister resident at Hamburg, after 1695. By instituting private religious services in his own house, in 1701, he caused a division in the Portuguese congregation, in respect to which the elders of the congregation vainly besought the authorities to interfere (from archives of the Staatsarchiv in Hamburg).
