Meyer, Johann Andreas Georg
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Hildesheim in 1768, and died March 29, 1841, doctor of theology. He wrote, Ueber das Verdienst des Christenthums (Erfurt, 1793): — De charismate τῶν γλωσσῶν, (Hanover, 1797): — Versuch einer Vertheidigung und Erlduteruny der Geschichte Jesu (1805): — Natur-Analogien, etc. (Hamburg, 1839).
