Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a German Reformed minister, was born at Fahr, kingdom of Hanover, Sept. 10, 1844; emigrated to America; was licensed by the Indiana Classis at Lafayette in the spring of 1867; began preaching at Crothersville, Ind., where he died, March 18, 1868, from suffocation, having fallen in an epileptic fit with his face in the water.
