Synapte
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(συναπτή ) is a Greek term for the Greek Collect in the Liturgy of St. Mark, resembling the ectene in that of St. James and of St. Chrysostom. It is used, also, to designate the Holy Communion.
