Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Hamburg in 1561, studied at different universities, was in 1592 professor of Hebrew at Helmstadt, in 1597 at Hamburg, and died Aug. 16,1626.
