Rudel, Carl Ernst Gottlieb

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born in 1769. He commenced his pastoral career at Leipsic in 1801, and died there in 1842, doctor of theology. He published, Predigten (1816): — Festpredigten und Amtsreden ( 1828-32, 2 volumes): — Abendmahls- und Confirmationsreden (1827-36, 6 volumes), etc. See Winer, Handbuch der theol.
