an Italian painter, son of the preceding, was born at Verona in 1540. A pupil of his father, he continued his, studies at Florence under Jacopo Ligozzi. Here he acquired an entirely different style from that of his father. His Madonnas have much grace and delicacy, and he excelled in portrait painting. He painted many small pictures upon stone. His larger paintings are almost innumerable; among them are Adoration of the Magi: Descent from the Cross: St. Lucia and St. Catharine: a colossal St. George, and a fresco on the facade of a house at Verona.
