For some time private tutor at Goittingen. he was in 1803 called to Giessen as professor of Oriental languages, and he died October 7, 1833, doctor of theology. He wrote, Exercitationes in Ecclesiastce Salomoni Vulgo — Tributi Locum Vexatissim. — cap. 11:7 — 12:7 (Gottingen, 1794): — Observat.
