Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a Scotch prelate, was first minister at Foveran, and next at Aberdeen. He was advanced to the see of Ross, January 18, 1662, where he remained until his death in 1679. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, page 203.
