Nimshi
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Heb. Nimshi', נַמְשַׁי , saved; Sept. Ναμεσσί, v. r. Ναμεσσεϊ v, Ναμεσθί, Ἀμεσεί ), the grandfather of Jehu (2 Kings 9:2; 2 Kings 9:14; 2 Kings 9:20), but often briefly called his father (1 Kings 19:16; 2 Chronicles 22:7). B.C. cir. 950.
