Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Hamburg, February 25, 1742. He studied at Gottingen, was in 1770 sub-rector at Stade, in 1778 rector, in 1781 cathedral-preacher at Bremen and died April 3, 1826.
