(Μάκρων, i.e. long-head; Vulg. Macer), the surname of Ptolemaus or Ptolemee, the son of Dorymenes (1 Maccabees 3:38) and governor of Cyprus under Ptolemy Philometor (2 Maccabees 10:12).
