Loguo
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
is, in the mythology of the Caribbeans, the name of the first man, who descended from his celestial abode to the soft, shapeless mass of which the earth was formed by his creative power. He first imparted to it shape and motion; the sun rendered it dry and hard. Loguo, after his death, reascended to heaven. See Vollmer, Mythol. W rterb. s.v.
