Lindewood, Lindwood, or Lyndewood, William
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
an English prelate who flourished in the 15th century, was divinity professor at Oxford in the time of Henry V, and bishop of St. David's in 1434. He died in 1446. He wrote Constitutiones Provinciales Ecclesic Anglicance (Oxon. 1679, fol.). — Lowndes's Bibl. Mar. page 1135; Marvin's Leg.
