Lancaster, Nathaniel
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
D.D., a minister of the Church of England, was born in England in 1698. During a portion of his ministry he was rector of Stamford Rivers, but he is better known as a literary man than as a pastor. He died in 1775. His published works are, Sermons (1746): — Essay on Delicacy (1748, 8vo): — The Old Serpent, or Methodism Triumphant — a Poem (1770, 4to). — Allibone, Dict. Engl. and Amer.
