מִלְקוֹחַים, mcikochin', "jaws," Psalms 22:15, elsewhere "prey;" also מְתִלְּעוֹת, methalleoth'," "jaws,"' Job 29:17 : "jaw teeth," Proverbs 30:14; "cheek teeth," Joel 1:6). The denuded jaw-bone of an ass afforded Samson (q.v.) a not unsuitable weapon (see Seifferheld, De maxilla asini, Tü bing. 1716) for the great carnage which he once effected (Judges 15:15).
