(Ι᾿σδαήλ,Vulg. Gaddahel), the name of one of the heads of families of "Solomon's servants" that returned from the captivity (1 Esdras 5:33); evidently the GIDDEL (See GIDDEL) (q.v.) of the Heb. texts (Ezra 2:56; Nehemiah 7:58).
