Intercession
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(פָּנִע, ἔντευξις ) is the act of interposition in behalf of another, to plead for him (Isaiah 53:12; Isaiah 59:16; 1 Timothy 2:1). (See ADVOCATE).
