Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

an Italian cardinal, was born in the district of Otranto in 1701. He became successively legate to the republic of San Marino, ambassador to Philip V, king of Spain, and cardinal under Benedict XIV, and was charged with. the government of Romagna.
