Gilbert, Joseph
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
an English Independent minister, was born in 1778, and was for many years pastor at Nottingham; died in 1852. He wrote The Christian Atonement (Cong. Lecture, London, 1836, 8vo; 2d edit. 1852).
