Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born October 31, 1551. He studied at Leipsic, was in 1573 pastor of St. John's there, in 1574 professor of Hebrew, and died at Meissen, October 5, 1631.
