Free (Or Free-Will) Offering

(נְדָבָה , nedabah', i.e., voluntar, as often), spoken of a spontaneous gift (Exodus 35:29; Ezra 1:4; comp. 7), but chiefly of a voluntary sacrifice (Leviticus 22:23; Ezra 3:5; Ezekiel 46:12; plur. 2 Chronicles 31:14; Leviticus 23:38; Amos 4:5; fig. Psalms 119:108), as opposed to one in consequence of a vow (נֵדֶר ), or in expiation of some offense. (See THANK-OFFERING).
