Euchomrni
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(from εὔχομαι, to pray), a name sometimes applied to those of the catechumens (q.v.) who remained to receive the minister's prayers and benedictions. (See GENUFLECTENTES).
