Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at New Springfield, Mahoning County, Ohio, in October 1833. He was converted in his twenty-first year; received license to preach in 1856; and in 1860. entered the Pittsburgh Conference, in which he labored until within a short time of his death, October 17, 1866.
