an English prelate, son of the first Lord Cornwallis, was appointed canon of Windsor, May 21, 1746; installed a prebendary of Lincoln, April 11, 1747; consecrated bishop of Coventry and Lichfield, February 19, 1750, and appointed prebendary of London, November 8, 1760, and dean of London, November 14, 1766.
