Conrad of Hirschau

Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

or OF COLOGNE, a learned German, lived about 1140. He was a Benedictine at the monastery of Hirschau, in the diocese of Cologne. He was a philosopher, rhetorician, poet, and musician, and wrote, De Musica et Differentia Tonorum, and other works. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog.
