Compass
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(usually סָבִב, κυκλόω, to surround) is used as a noun by the A. V., especially in the phrase "fetch a compass" סָבִב, Numbers 34:5; Joshua 15:3; 2 Samuel 5:23; 2 Kings 3:9; περιέρχομᾷι, Acts 28:13), i.e. go around.
