a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born at Neustadt, Aug. 15, 1645. He studied at Wittenberg; was. in 1672, adjunctus to the philosophical faculty; in 1675 provost and superintendent at Slieben; in 1683 doctor of theology; in 1690 superintendent at Grossenhayn, and died June 14, 1733.
