Chevanes, Jacques
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
a French monk, was born at Autun about 1608. He entered the Captichin order, devoted- himself to preaching, and died in 1678, leaving Les Enftrtiens Curieux dlermnodore e t d'un Voyageur Inconnu ' (Lyons; 1634' 4to): — Conduite ides Illustres.
