a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Thetford, Vt., Jan. 19,1807. He removed in his youth to Watervliet, N. Y., where he experienced religion; and, in 1834, united with the Troy Conference, wherein he labored with fidelity and success twenty-two years. In 1866 he became supernumerary, in which relation, and that of a superannuate, he continued to the close of his life, July 30, 1875.
