Catholikin
Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature
(Chaldaized Gr.) were two officers, in the ancient Jewish temple, next in authority to the sagan, and only inferior to that officer and the high priest. They acted as head treasurers.
