Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

a Presbyterian minister, was licensed to preach by Suffolk Presbytery, settled as first pastor of Pleasant Valley Church, Duchess Co., N. Y., .in November, 1765, and continued there more than twenty years. He died in 1793, leaving a number of poems, written to promote the cause of liberty (republished in New York in 1852).
