Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological and Ecclesiastical Literature

an Irish Roman Catholic clergyman, was born in the county of Tipperary in 1589 or 1590. He became apostolic notary and vicar-choral of St. Stephen's, Vienna; and, according to some, died in 1664, but, according to others, was living in 1672. His works include, Itinerarium (1639-46, 3 parts): Res Germanics, 1617-41 (1641, 12mo): Lyra, seu Anacephalceosis Hibernica, etc. (1651): Responsio Veridica ad Illotum Libellum (1672).
